Here is a photo I took last month during a walk around Stanley Park with my Mom and sister.
This little guy was only about 2 months old, and quite shy, unlike his bold parents.
Stanley Park is a huge part of my life, and I love it. The windstorm this winter was devastating, but I think the park will be back better than ever.

I am your Digital Imaging Consultant and Project Manager at ABC Photocolour in the Fine Art Photo & Commercial Imaging Division.

My photo was taken by the computer artist Matthew Lester and the rose was photography, digitally edited & composited by me.
There is a high tech area in Burnaby called Discovery Park which has a new trail through the area and beside the remnants of a former front walkway sits this old rose bush. Although abandoned & neglected, the white vintage rose has many thorns and simple blossoms, very simple compared to today's cultivated roses, but is white as snow and has the most beautiful fragance. Like the past, it is reminiscent of lovelier times and ethereal. I tried several times, but have failed to root it from cuttings.
