by Helen Wilson A tree in a wee park near where we live in Coquitlam. Right after Shawn and I bought our first place, we went exploring and found this lovely little hidden gem of a ravine that is only a five minute walk from our front door. There is a beautiful tree near the bottom of this ravine (there are many trees in this ravine, however none quite caught my eye like this one did), it is covered with moss (at least I think that is what it is) and it is...well...it's just magical! |
By David deROY My wife’s grandmother Fanny Dutton. This picture was taken in the 1930’s. Fanny lived all her life in the Vancouver area. She now resides in homecare in Surrey just blocks from our home. At the ripe old age of 95 she can still beat me and my wife at crib. |
