Excerpt from "Steamclock 1:18am"
The mosaic "Steamclock 1:18am" represents one of the many objects we see and recognize in the city. These recognizeable things are the city's visual trinkets, like Vancouver's posessions, scattered all over. Once the darkness and chilliness of an evening sets in, the streets gradually empty of traffic and people. These quiet posessions -seemingly unnoticed before- appear to take over, quiet and still.
